India win toss, put Afghanistan into bat


DHAKA: India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bowl first against Afghanistan in their last league match in the 12th Asia Cup here at the Shere Bangla National Stadium on Wednesday.

India are unchanged while Afghanistan have one change as Rahmat Shah has been included in place of Hamza Kotak.

Virat Kohli said the ball might not come on well on this pitch and India would like to chase taking advantage of the expected dew while his compatriot Mohammad Nabi said Afghanistan would have batted.

Nabi said it was a good experience playing Test nations.
